Program at a glance

The theme for the 2020 Conference is "Celebrating Diversity" with three substreams of (a) indigenous issues, (b) human rights and (c) the courts.

Please note the program is subject to change.

In addition to the optional Pre- or Post- Conference Tours, the IAWJ, in conjunction with the Ministry of Justice, are proud to offer a selection of Justice Sector Tours.  The details and costs associated for these tours will be made available soon, with registrations expected to be open by October 2019. These Justice Sector Tours will offer participants an opportunity to visit court, prison or specialist provider sites and understand more about how each of these groups operate, and how they are providing vital and innovative services to the New Zealand justice system and judiciary.  Pre Conference Tours will be available in Auckland and Post Conference Tours in Auckland and Wellington
